Music Programme

What musical philosophy does Radio Swiss Pop follow?

When selecting which tracks to play, our music programmers follow stringent format requirements, which we established on the basis of numerous audience surveys and auditorium tests. Our format focuses on the music from the last 40 years, with an emphasis on melodious, catchy pop and pop-rock, and a 50% share of Swiss music. Of course, we also include classics from the 60s and 70s.
The programme is balanced throughout the year and – with the exception of the Christmas programme during the Advent period – does not take special account of topical events such as birthdays, anniversaries of deaths, celebrations, public holidays or seasons.
